It is common to see golfers swing in the air and loosen up their hips before taking an actual shot. However, the newly crowned king Harman took the ‘waggle’ to a whole new level. He envisioned his shots so much that NBC Live installed a wiggle counter to keep track of how often he moved his weight. Many people were shocked to see Harman take so long because the ‘slow play’ has been a frequent source of contention.

However, LIV Golf defector Ian Poulter is not afraid to speak his mind. Poulter shared his views on Twitter. He believes that Harman’s tactics and game are superior to his peculiar habits. He outperformed everyone, including some of the top players, and that ought to be enough.

Despite not participating in the Open, Poulter kept himself informed. And thanks to his witty personality, Poulter couldn’t help but take a funny dig at Herman when he said, ”Waggle away, Brian”.

Sure, Harman’s waggle is garnering a lot of attention, but did you know that if it weren’t for his father, he might never have taken up golf? Move forward!

Harman’s passion for different sport

When Harman was a child, his passion was not golf but baseball. But when he turned 14, his father advised him to go for golf rather than baseball. The reason was simple: Herman was not big enough to make it as a pro baseball star.

The PGA Tour Official posted a video of him talking about his love of playing baseball. The golf pro revealed that he took his father’s advice and started getting better at golf. “I really put all my eggs in the golf basket,” he stated. “[I] started working really hard on it and just kind of got lucky.”
