Golf beauty Paige Spiranac, has always been vocal and outspoken about her thoughts. This expressive quality of hers is appreciated by her fans too. With her latest tweet, Paige has joined the infamous controversy that Michael Block has landed himself in after he made unthoughtful remarks on the former World No. 1 golfer, Rory McIlroy.
A recent statement of Block invited backlash from golf fans. They are annoyed that Block let his recent progress at PGA Championship get to his head. Therefore, golf fans flooded Twitter with the hashtag #BlockPartyOver. But amid the chaos, Spiranac was there by Block’s side to support him.

On Wednesday, Michael Block guest starred on Bob Menery’s RipperMagoo podcast. On the show, when host Menery asked him about the difference between his and Rory McIlroy’s game, Block gave an answer that shocked everyone: “He’s a lot longer than I am, that’s what it is,” He stated as a matter of fact. “What I would shoot from where Rory hits it would be stupid. I think I’d be one of the best players in the world.”
What the people are finding more offensive is that these charged comments came after Block played his final round of the PGA Championship with McIlroy where he also aced at the 15th hole.
Extending her support to Michael, Paige expressed that she is feeling sorry for the pressure performance that he is facing which also comes up with public scrutiny and twisted narratives. She also requested people to cut him some slack. She tweeted –
Feel for Michael Block after his round today. There’s so much pressure to perform and no one prepares you for how to handle public scrutiny. One quick video clip or headline can twist the narrative (I know from experience…most recently involving him) so cut him some slack

Micheal Block’s disappointing performance at Charles Schwab challenge
Block sure is regretting those words now as he has displeased the netizens with his terms of comparison. Later in the podcast, he appreciated Rory by calling him awesome, but his earlier statements did not sit well with fans. His game today at the Charles Schwab Challenge was not up to the mark. After a lot of struggling, he managed a couple of birdies, three bogeys, and three doubles, and his final score was 81 — 11 over par. Block was also last in the rankings. Chances are high that he may have to make an early exit.
Spiranac has always lent her support to those she felt were right. A few months ago she defended Tiger Woods in the unfortunate tampon fiasco. Block’s big mouthing has definitely landed him in deep waters with the Golf community, but with Spiranac defending him things could change.
