Kanye West, (now known as Ye), has often been mired in controversies. The American rapper has made a habit of indulging in comments that have gone against public belief. His recent antisemitic words in an interview have resulted in a huge uproar. Many are condemning his actions, with some advising the ‘Donda’ singer to get medical help. Perhaps golf sensatio, Paige Spiranac, was ahead of time, as she had requested Ye to get help after the latter’s social media rant during his 2020 presidential election campaign.

Paige Spiranac’s “no joke” tweet about Kanye West
Back in 2020, West surprised the world with an announcement expressing his interest to campaign for the 2020 US presidential bid. The popular singer eventually stepped down from the position, but not before swaying numerous heads in his short-lived political career.
However, the 45-year-old faced consequences of his much-publicized rally. According to reports, Ye’s attempt caused problems with then-wife Kim Kardashian. However, the extent of the situation was learned when Ye posted worrying messages about his family on social media. Though deleted later, screen grabs of the posts caused a stir among netizens.
Alongside the backlash that ultimately proved fateful, Ye’s mental health caused uneasiness among fans. Among the several concerned messages, golf sensation, Paige Spiranac, addressed the issue through a tweet. She appeared concerned for Ye and requested medical help for the rapper. His words caused another uproar and resulted in the revoke of the honorary doctorate received from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. It was awarded to him in 2015 but rescinded due to recent “anti-Black, antisemitic and incendiary statements.”
“[Kanye West’s] anti-Black, antisemitic, and incendiary statements, particularly those directed at Black and Jewish communities, are disgusting and condemnable,” SAIC President, Elissa Tenny, said in a statement. “His words and actions have been painful for our entire community and, particularly, for those of us who feel that our identities and life experiences are under attack.”
