What is causing the stir up on the LPGA Tour?

Get ready for an action-packed event this week, with 72 talented players competing in a 72-hole, no-cut tournament. While all eyes will be on the players’ performance, the recent announcement by the LPGA Tour about a change to full-field events for 2023 is also causing a stir.

Starting with the LPGA Drive-On Championship on March 23-26, the cutline will now be set at the top 65 players and ties, instead of the previous top 70 players and ties. This move is aimed at promoting a swifter pace of play.

So, even though there is no cut line in Thailand, it might still occupy the thoughts of players.

Currently, Ko is at the T15 place on the leaderboard, with Natthakritta Vongtaveelap gunning for the win.
