There was no weather altercation at THE PLAYERS Championship, yet the first two rounds were suspended before completion. The reason? Because rounds could not end on time as the darkness fell on the Stadium Course. The delay of the rounds had made the golf fans furious, as the late-round finish had a chance to push the final round on to Monday, which fortunately didn’t happen.
However, the viewers are alleging that the reason behind the delays was the slow play by the pros. Earlier this week, Wyndham Clark was getting bashed for his slow play with the public, even demanding he be penalized. Now another name has been added to that list of slow-play pros: Brian Harman.
Sitting third on the leaderboard at THE PLAYERS, Harman has become the latest subject of the golf world’s slow-play criticism. Chris Murphy, an author on Action Network, shared a snippet from Harman’s third round on X. The 2023 Open Championship winner was seen fidgeting a little before hitting the shot. Murphy stated that it was such things that were the reason “why the Tour can’t finish rounds”!

Soon after, the golf world shared their grievances over the delayed round and chimed in to display utter frustration with Harman and Clark, who supposedly took more time to finish the round than others.
The golf world dubs Brian Harman the least watchable pro
This wasn’t the first time Clark has been under scrutiny by golf fans. Earlier, he was disparaged with cheating accusations, along with the regular slow play frustration. For Harman, on the other hand, this was a rare day of getting trolled by the netizens.
Agreeing with Murphy’s tweet, one fan showed their dissent with Harman being paired in the final pairing for the last round THE PLAYERS Championship. They furiously said, “It drives me absolutely insane watching him regrip 16x.”
Yep…and oh good. He'll be in the final two pairs tomorrow. It drives me absolutely insane watching him regrip 16x.

On the other hand, one viewer didn’t agree with the tweet. They didn’t find Harman’s twitching to be that bad. Talking about putting routine, they believed, comparatively, that Clark was the worst of the two and regretted that he had been paired with Xander Schauffele for the final round.
Try again, dude. This ain’t even close to being egregious. Pre-putt scouting/routines are the main cause. Clark is one of the worst and he and Shauffele’s group just got put on the clock.

Another fan used Harman’s slow play as an example of why they and many in the golf world aren’t watching the PGA Tour events these days. They exclaimed, “I have money on him and I can’t watch!”
And why I, and I’m assuming many others, don’t watch the PGAT anymore.

This was getting impatient by watching Harman hesitate so much before taking the shot. They frustratingly said, “Hit the f***ing ball!!!!!!!!”
Hit the fucking ball!!!!!!!! https://t.co/gYRTs89wwP

One user brutally called Harman the “least watchable golfer of them all” and claimed that he shouldn’t ever be on TV.
Least watchable golfer of them all. He shouldn’t be on TV, ever.

A few other fans diverted the attention from Harman, pulling Clark back into the conversation. They claimed that he took 3 minutes to read a putt, which was more aggravating.
Now show Wyndham reading a putt for 3 mins

This spectator was furious and asked that Harman be penalized with extra strokes. The event went as far as suggesting the PGA Tour pro be removed from the Tour altogether for slow play.
Harman should have been docked strokes every round for this bullshit. Get this off the tour. https://t.co/oY7dCHKwkh
