Golfers, like many other athletes, also have a social media presence where they interact with fans and react to viral memes or fan edits. Some golfers have a lighthearted approach to their social media presence, engaging with fans and sharing funny content. Bryson DeChambeau is one such golf star. With over 1 million followers on Instagram and over 400k followers on Twitter, the LIV star loves his ever-growing fan base, and his latest social media appearance show exactly how much!
Just hours ago, a simple fan edit involving him and a disappointed fan went viral and caught his attention. And commenting with just five words on it, the one-time major winner proved why he’s golf’s ‘cool dude’.

Even while DeChambeau is tearing it up at LIV’s London event this week, he’s somehow ensured that his social media presence has not suffered. Active as ever on Instagram, his latest appearance was on a fan-edited viral video that had been shared by the LIV team’s DeChambeau Captain, Crushers GC.
The video titled “These fans edits are getting out of control… 🤣“ showcased DeChambeau missing a fist bump with a fan at an event in slow motion with the famous Adele song, ‘Someone Like You’, playing in the background. The captain himself added to the humor of the post with his comment on it, writing, “Just a couple inches short…”

The original video, both unedited and edited, was posted by Imran Fadzil, who goes by the name ringolfstarr on Instagram. Fadzil is a golf enthusiast whose bio says, “Eat. Pray. Golf.” However, fortunately, the fan wasn’t left hanging forever; as per the story in his Instagram highlights titled “Bryson & I,” it’s seen that he eventually got his much-awaited greeting with the LIV star with a high-five.
Unsurprisingly, Fadzil isn’t the first fan to make an edit of a gold star; in the past, many golf enthusiasts have successfully won over the internet with their editing skills!
Other viral golf edits by fans that broke the internet
One funny fan edit featured Cameron Smith practicing in his backyard. The editing video traced his shot to show him hitting a woman looking out her window, leading to her falling out. While this, of course, never actually occurred, the skilled fan certainly left no stone unturned to add humor to the Aussie’s practice shot!

Other hilarious fan edits also include the likes of two men verbally fighting. While the actual video is of two ordinary men infuriated with one another, the edit highlights their fight as the ongoing feud between Brooks Koepka and Matthew Wolff!
