The tournament offers no prize money and is a benefit event for the Tiger Woods Foundation. The charity aims to empower minorities, especially the underprivileged. It has many platforms under it, including the TGR Learning Labs, the Genesis Open, The National, Tiger Jam, and, of course, the Hero World Challenge.

The luxury property is set in New Providence and has strategically placed water hazards along its length and has a minimum elevation of 5m and a maximum of 10m. The average winning score over the last five years is a tad less than 20-under.

Meanwhile, the 72-hole record is in Jordan Spieth’s name from 2014 with a 262, while the Albany record is 263, set by Bubba Watson in 2015. The 18-hole record, on the other hand, is in Rickie Fowler’s name, a low 61 set during the fourth round in 2017.
