Danielle Kang, an American professional golfer, is renowned for her extraordinary abilities on the greens. Recently, Kang lauded FootJoy in a story she posted on her official Instagram account. She penned: “After scans and samples, FootJoy created my own insoles that helps with my stance, balance and walking. Incredibly thankful and for making it so easy for me to incorporate in every FootJoys I wear.” In the next story, she is also seen wearing her brand new shoes and hitting some shots.

Last year, Kang won her sixth LPGA Tour title at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. She performed well in subsequent competitions, but in the US Women’s Open 2022, she soon revealed that she had a spine tumor. After receiving treatment, she has returned in full force. She also demonstrated her amazing abilities this year at the Mizuho Americas Open, where she placed tenth in the competition. 

It’s encouraging to see that she is working hard to improve her game, and finding ways to enhance it through her footwear! But, this isn’t the first time that golfers’ lives have been impacted by these shoes.

Tiger Woods loves FootJoy too!

Tiger Woods is undoubtedly one of the best golfers in the world, but recent years have been very difficult for him. He was in a near-fatal car accident in late 2021, and after that, his form was affected severely.

Before taking a hiatus this year, he appeared in the first major championship, the Masters Tournament. This time, Woods was rocking the FootJoy Premiere Series Packard sneakers rather than his usual footwear choice, Nike.

The same shoes were worn by the 15-time major champion during the practice round at Augusta National the previous year as well. FootJoy is a part of the $2,974.75 million Acushnet Holdings Corp. “I have very limited mobility now. Just with the rods and plates and screws that are in my leg, I needed something different, something that allowed me to be more stable. That’s what I’ve gone to,” said Woods.
