Sergio Garcia and the green: nowhere close to one another anymore?
Recently, however, the PGA Tour posted a video of Garcia where he was seen missing the green. In the video, Sergio tried hitting the ball to the green, although, his attempts failed and he missed. The ball instead went straight into the grandstand.
The grandstands are put in place in order to provide a temporary immovable obstruction and thus grant players free relief. However, this grandstand did not prove to be a relief to Garcia. His miss was noticed and pointed out by his former ally and now opposition, The PGA Tour.

LIV Golf was not too late to respond to this remark of the Tour. LIV Golf’s Twitter handle replied, “The grandstand came close to hitting the green.” Fans were also not behind in responding to this Cold War.

Sergio cannot focus on winning anymore. The youth and talent is a thing of the past. The incentive to earn a living is not there. He will only be an ambassador of LIV golf going forward ⛳️

Surprised the guy didn't casually just chuck the ball towards the hole

@PGATOUR Cue the infamous “Garcia Meltdown” where he blames the Marshalls. the tour, the rules, the weather, the course, the layout, the clubs, the fans, the cameras, the trees, the bird chirping two counties away….for his errant shot.

Also, look how close the grandstand was to the green. The PGA setups don’t make those dumb mistakes.

All in all, even though Garcia did not hit the green that day, he did hit a lot of retweets.
