The post has garnered thousands of likes and comments, with many praising the 37-year-old’s dedication. 

The Instagram post also overlaid Horschel’s quote, Still going to 3M. Horschel was on fire, leading the pack after 54 holes, but Xander Schauffele snatched victory from his grasp with a stunning 6-under 65 on Sunday. Horschel’s 3-under 68 wasn’t enough to secure his first major title, but he’s not making excuses. I’m disappointed, but I shouldn’t be surprised – I had my chance and I didn’t take it, said Horschel after the loss. Words so simple, yet they show how heartbroken he was after Troon’s showdown ended.
