The LIV Golf Tulsa has finally concluded after a little hiccup from the afternoon rain. The 48-man field witnessed Dustin Johnson finishing up with a colossal $4 million. Even though the victory did not earn him any OWGR points, it must have boosted his confidence ahead of the big event at Oak Hill Country Club.

As the players only have a few days left before they take on the greens in Rochester, they are putting their efforts into maintaining an optimum balance. This includes finding a footing at the new venue as soon as possible. Consequently, DJ also provided a peek into his post-match schedule at the press conference in Oklahoma.

Due to fewer days left before the major tournament commences, it sounded quite reasonable for the golfer to head out on the same night. This could provide him with enough rest and time to get ready for his next game. The LIV Golf Pro also apprised the audience regarding the golf course in Pittsford. He mentioned how he enjoys playing on a tough track and Oak Hill is going to offer him just that. He seemed optimistic about his form and recalled his game on the same course in 2013.

Johnson managed to register his name in the three-man playoff along with Branden Grace and Cameron Smith. Ultimately, DJ took on Smith in the showdown as the two golfers were tied at -17. The results eventually dipped in favor of Dustin as he scored a birdie putt on the first playoff hole.

The day did not start ideally for the star as he made a triple bogey at the 10th hole. But he bounced back in the afternoon with a nice birdie on the next hole. This win will for sure assure Dustin of his excellent form. However, the return to the conventional format at one of the toughest courses will prove to be a test of his skills.
