To many people’s surprise, DeChambeau took South African Shaun Norris’ name. He is a 40-year-old journeyman who is constantly seen puffing away cigarettes when he is playing golf.
The Scientist said, “You don’t mess with that guy. He smokes like 34 cigarettes a day.” The host responded by saying: “You need an enforcer on the golf team, dude!” But the 2020 US Open Champion replied, “No, he’ll look at you and kill you. Just by his looks. He’s crazy.”
Despite DeChambeau’s move to LIV Golf, he still will be facing Shaun Norris frequently since Norris too has joined the Saudi-backed Golf Tour.

DeChambeau already spent his LIV Golf money?
Later in the podcast, the hosts were constantly questioning DeChambeau about what he is going to do with his LIV Golf money. However, DeChambeau made fun of the fact that practically all of it has already been consumed by his real estate investments and plans to construct a multi-sport complex in Dallas, Texas.
The 28-year-old said,“What’s cool about it though is that I’ve already put it [the money] in places that make sense, whether it’s my foundation, or real estate, being able to build a multi-sport complex, or taking care of my family, taking care of what we’ve got going with our content creation Regecy, numerous other things too.” He ended with a joke saying, “So, it’s already moved. I’m again broke.”
When DeChambeau joined the rival series during the first $25 million event at Centurion Club just outside of London, he quickly rose to become one of the most well-known LIV Golf signees. He has reportedly signed a deal worth $125 million with the Saudi-backed Golf Tour.
