The veteran has a decade-old career playing golf. She has gone through the ups and downs and come out better. Shin recently shared the challenges a golfer faces with her fans.

The 30-year-old is playing at the Old American Golf Club in Texas. Standing at 27, Shin was tied at 3 at the NW Arkansas Championship previously. Started playing golf at the age of 9, Shin had had only two victories throughout her two-decade-long career.
Nevertheless, she has battled with her career slump and made peace with it. Recently, she took over the LPGA Tour Instagram stories. The golfer planned an Ask Me Anything for fans. The fans asked her hilarious and serious questions.
On being asked about the challenging part of her life playing on the tour, she listed down five struggles. Shin said, “Living out of a suitcase, dealing with air travel, not having a life routine, Jet Lag and not seeing family.” She further added that she “enjoys the sacrifice” and is “Quite used to all of it.”
Formerly, the golfer had shared her mental health struggles with fans. The slowing career trajectory had agitated her. With two professional victories in her bag, Shin is making slow progress in her game. However, it has been anything but easy, especially her struggles with mental health.

Jenny Shin can be called the veteran of the LPGA Tour. The South Korean golfer has seen the different eras of the game. Playing since her childhood, she has yet to take a groundbreaking triumph. Sharing her struggles with her career slump, Shin said, “It’s been really tough to believe in myself in the past few years because I was going through a really bad slump and I had issues with takeaway, issues with the tee shot… I had a lot going on in the past.”

However, she is “in a better place now mentally.” Shin performed exceptionally at the Pinnacle Country Club last week. She was just a few strokes away from winning. This championship proves her remarkable skills and gives her hopes for a better future.
