Max Homa and Collin Morikawa share a great bond with each other. Despite being up against each other on multiple occasions, the duo have ridden on a healthy camaraderie over the years. But both golfers never leave out a chance to pull each other’s legs, which was evident after Homa’s recent comment on his pal’s Instagram post.

Fresh off the weekend’s play at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans a week ago, Morikawa used some time off to practice his tee drives. The 26-year-old was at hand with some prominent names at a golf course, where he uploaded a clip of his tee shot while playing barefoot and adorning casual attire.

The post was met with quite a few reactions from fans worldwide and attracted more than 12,000 likes at the time of writing. However, the most popular comment came from his buddy, Max Homa.

But what did Homa reply to Morikawa’s post? The University of California alum commented critically on the latter’s dressing sense and asked him to show some class. “Tuck ur shirt in man. Have some class,” he wrote in the comments section.

Is it a sign of brewing disputes between two long-time friends? As it stands, Morikawa hasn’t replied to the comment, but it could be merely another indication of the friendly fire between them.

The duo was behind the mic for the press conference at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans last week when Morikawa made a surprising revelation about Homa. Rolling back the years, the former revealed his first meeting with the 32-year-old, which certainly didn’t go well.

“This was, I think, the first time I had ever met Max. And he did not care about me at all,” Morikawa said. “It was me, Max, and Brandon Hagy, another Cal player. I talked to Brandon almost the entire time, and Max just kind of like let me go.”

“It’s weird; everyone thinks Max is this outgoing guy. When I met him seven years ago, he was pretty shy. He was in his bubble,” Morikawa surprisingly revealed.
