Before the start of the Masters, professionals and their families enjoy the par 3 contest. The contest returned after a two years halt in 2022 Masters. Some notable names, including Tiger Woods, gave the par-3 contest a shot on Wednesday at Augusta National, but has Woods ever won the battle?

The tradition of the par 3 contest at Augusta National was started in the year 1960. Sam Snead won its inaugural competition, and since then, the event has been played every year except in 2017, 2020, and 2021.
Every year some of the biggest names in the sport of golf try to win the contest in which the professional with the best score close to par after nine holes wins the competition. The list of big names regularly competing at the contest includes Tiger Woods but has he ever won at the competition?

Unfortunately, Woods, who is a five-time Masters champion, has never won the par 3 contest at Augusta National. However, he is not the only big name missing from the list of winners of the competition. Jack Nickalus is another big name who has not won but has been a regular participant in the contest.
Moreover, Woods again gave it a shot at the 2022 Masters. He played in the competition along with Fred Couples and Justin Thomas. However, he did not win but gave something to the fans at the par 3 16th hole. The three professionals together skipped the balls over the water, with only Couples being able to find the putting surface.

Who won the 2022 par 3 contest?
In the par 3 contest in the northeast corner of Augusta National Golf Course, Mike Weir, Mackenzie Hughes, and Kevin Na were the three joint winners of the par 3 contest. The three professionals won the event with an overall score of four-under-par over nine holes. Larry Mize and Cameron Davis finished one stroke off the lead. As a result, they finished as the runner-ups in the unique contest. Bernhard Langer, Si Woo Kim, Thomas Pieters, and Joaquin Niemann finished two shots off the lead with an overall score of two-under-par.
