Phil Mickelson has accepted his gambling addictions, has also recovered from them, and has also pledged not to be involved in the activity anymore. Lefty’s deepest secret was publicized when Billy Walters alleged in his book that Mickelson lost nearly $100 million in gambling and bets. Nonetheless, the 45-time PGA Tour winner is now over his addictions. But since he loved poker, did he ever participate in Tiger Woods’s philanthropic event for his TGR Foundation, the Tiger Jam?
Tiger Jam has been around since 1998, well past LIV Golf’s existence and Lefty’s jump to the breakaway circuit. However, in the last two decades, the 53-year-old has never been to Las Vegas to be part of the Tiger Jam. The event has returned to the Vegas venue for two days from May 31 to June 1; Is Mickelson a part of it this year?
Unfortunately, no. Woods and Mickelson have been arch-rivals for the better part of their careers. But ever since the 53-year-old signed the deal with the Saudi-backed league, their relationship has probably become more entangled. Remember the rumors that Woods barred Mickelson from attending the 2022 British Open’s champion dinner? Speculating on that, Mickelson would possibly not make an appearance at the Tiger Jam, as he never did.

The two days will have four massive events, and there is an event for the party animal, the golf enthusiast, or both. The event already started with the Tiger Jam Golf Outing at Shadow Creek, followed by Poker Night. The night had golfers like Collin Morikawa, Woods himself, and professional poker players.

Following this, there will be the reception and Maroon 5 concert at Dolby Live. On the next day, June 1st, there will be a post-party with several spicy drinks and exclusive food. In the last 27 years, Tiger Jam has raised $22 million to help the youth associated with the TGR Foundation.
Via its various programs, like the TGR Learning Lab, which gives the students a safe place “to learn, grow, and chase after their dreams,” the STEM program for better career opportunities, and the college access program to make admission in higher education an easier process for the students, This year’s fund will further progress the TGR Foundation and its attempts to ease the youth’s lives.
