John Daly is one of the most legendary players the golf world has ever had. The multiple-time PGA champion has tons of people who’re fans of his game on the field. But his non-country club appearance has gotten him much more recognition than anything else. And his colorful pants have always been the talk of the town. But where is John Daly now? Has he retired from golf? Or is he still playing?

Where is John Daly?
According to his fans, Daly is aging like fine wine. The golfer is currently 56 years old, and nowhere near retirement. The golfer even wanted to be a part of the LIV Golf league led by Greg Norman. But to his surprise, Norman rejected his appeal to enter the tour. Hence, the golfer continues to play on the PGA Tour. He will be playing on the PGA Tour Champions’ ongoing event, the Sanford International.

But it has been a long time since fans saw Daly play in any tournament. However, it was not long ago when Daly was disqualified from the PGA Tour Champions event in May when he failed to sign his scorecard. There weren’t many details about the incident from the PGA Tour Champions. Moreover, the golfer’s game was also not very good at the event. Daly first made a double-bogey at the par-3 seventh, and then made another double-bogey on the final hole.

It was the first time Daly was disqualified from a PGA Tour Champions tournament. The golfer has made more than 100 career starts till now. Next up, he was seen at the 2022 PGA Championship where he was one of the biggest stars in the opening round.

Will Daly retire anytime soon?
Most golfers plan to retire around the age of 50. But Daly’s lifestyle has never matched that of other golfers. The golfer believes in living a king-sized life and still makes millions of dollars from his golfing career. Daly has fought off his drinking habits as well as his gambling problem to such an extent that he can still keep going for a few years on the field.

Fans are concerned about the golf legend’s health. However, it is hard to confirm if Daly would play any more Major tournaments in the future. The professional golfer has won two major events in his career. And only time will tell if he is ready to compete for another one!
