Brooks Koepka made a pretty controversial decision to jump to LIV Golf leaving his PGA Tour legacy behind. However, his loyal fans still wish to see him back in action super soon! Is Brooks Koepka playing at the 2023 Masters?
Koepka, 32, has achieved several milestones in his career at a pretty young age. However, the big question remains if he is going to make an appearance at the Masters field next month. For those who don’t know, the Augusta National Golf Club made a clear announcement about allowing eligible LIV Golf defectors to play in the tournament. Although numerous fans and professional PGA Tour players were against this decision, the club has given LIV Golf a chance anyways.
With the announcement being made, 18 LIV stars received a clean chit to enter the Masters tournament. And Brooks Koepka is surely among these players along with legend Phil Mickelson and many more. This means that the golfer has earned his invitation to play at Augusta National. Not to forget, with his current OWGR ranking (106), the golfer isn’t visibly among the world’s top 50 players. But his 2019 PGA Championship win exemption has given him clearance to participate in the Masters through 2024.

However, there has been no confirmation about his intentions to appear at the tournament. Keeping in mind how much the Masters matters to each and every professional golfer, there are high chances for the fans to see Koepka on the field. On the other hand, the final decision to play or pass still stays in the hands of the former world no. 1. Nonetheless, keeping aside his participation in the Masters, it is safe to say that Koepka has regained his lost confidence. And it was made clear with his statements right before the LIV Golf Tucson event: “I feel like my game is right where I need to be. I’m very happy.”
