Hayden Springer’s journey to the PGA Tour has been pretty incredible, but what’s even more inspiring is the love and strength he’s found with his wife, Emma, and their beautiful daughters, including their newest addition, Isla Rose, who was born on 11 January 2025. I mean, they just welcomed her to the family and are clearly over the moon, “Isla Rose, we are so glad you’re here. ♥,” they wrote on Instagram, sharing a heartwarming picture of their little bundle of joy.

But what’s really remarkable about Springer’s story is the journey he and Emma have been on as a family. When their first child, Sage Elyse Springer, was diagnosed with a genetic disease, Trisomy 18, the prognosis was devastating. Despite the odds, Sage lived for three years, bringing immense joy to the Springers, and as their family grew, they welcomed their second child, Annie, in October 2022, but sadly, their time with Sage was nearing an end.

They eventually bid farewell to their firstborn on November 13, 2023. Just a month later, Springer achieved a major milestone, earning his PGA Tour card by finishing T4 at the Q-School presented by the Korn Ferry Tour. On that emotional occasion, Springer remembered Sage, saying, “I can just close my eyes and think about her smiling.” Fans are over the moon with joy at the golfer’s personal milestone and are not shy in letting him know.

According to his mother, Jennifer Springer, Hayden was always hands-on when it came to caring for his daughter Sage, who was born with Trisomy 18.

“During Sage’s life, he never shied away from learning how to care for her and in providing her care,” his mother told PGA Tour. He spent countless nights sleeping in the hospital room with her, getting up to tend to her needs and monitor her condition. Despite the challenges they faced, Springer managed to balance his family life with his golf career, and his hard work paid off when he earned a spot on the PGA Tour.

If you had asked Springer about his future back then, he would’ve said, “We don’t know what two years, or five years, or 10 years from now looks like… Trying to live knowing that, and also knowing that we’re very blessed to be healthy; we’re very blessed to be here, and for me to be playing on the PGA TOUR, it definitely is a blessing.” But now the golfer is looking forward to a bright future filled with sunlight and new beginnings. “How precious!!!!” another fan said, which perfectly defines little sweet Isla Rose.
