The 2023 Masters may be a few days away, but the 44-year-old Watson appears to be in a great mood!
In his latest post, Watson puts up a hilarious question before fellow LIV golfer, Mickelson.
“Hey Phil, Let’s make the first trade in LIV Golf…What will you give me for HV3?” the two-time Major winner asks Mickelson. LIV Golf’s Harold Varner III is also in on the joke.

Watson’s practical joke has managed to leave his fans feeling dumbstruck.
“Cap are you okay?,” commented one fan. “I think Phil hacked my accounts 😂,” came Watson’s prompt reply.
Another fan wrote, “@bubbawatson @hv3_golf I’ll give you a double pack of Bubblicious and some Jordan Concords. I need him for a scramble next weekend 😂😂😂”
“No way Bubba! HV3 is a key member of the goats!” said one fan empathizing with HV3.
“Trades in LIV would be awesome,” commented another golf enthusiast.
Fans were quick to realize that Bubba was most probably cracking a harmless joke on the occasion of April Fool’s Day. “Lol April fools,” reminded another golf follower in the comments section.
Last month, Watson reiterated that there existed no awkwardness between LIV golfers and PGA pros going into the Masters.

Ever since a considerable number of golfers left the PGA Tour to join LIV Golf, the battle between the two factions has been getting uglier.
Recently, the Saudi-backed faction accused PGA tour of sabotaging a previously signed media deal. However, the 44-year-old Watson has claimed that he feels “no awkwardness” from PGA Tour peers.

“I’m going to be honest, man. It’s only awkward in the media. I’ve talked to people that are going to be there. I’m going to sign up with Jason Day and Cam Young in the par-three. Some guys have already asked me to play some practice rounds. [The] media is the only one that is pushing it,” revealed Watson last Wednesday.
