Charley Hull was recently playing at the Grant Thornton Invitational. Along with Justin Rose, they finished T9 on the leaderboard. As she headed back home from Florida, the Englishwoman was hit with the gut-wrenching news of the passing of her loved one.

Hull, like any other dog parent, shared countless memories with her dog, Bella. Sadly, their journey together came to an end just a few days before Christmas with the sad demise of her dog. As Hull mourned the loss of her little buddy, she also shared the news with all her fans.

Charley Hull shared the sad news of her white German shepherd who passed away just a few hours back. The golfer has been a loving dog mom, her dog ‘Bella’ has been her best supporter and cuddle partner for the past 8 years.

Hull shared the news of her loss through a story on her Instagram handle which said, “Gutted RIP my beautiful baby Bella,” while sharing the old and cute memories of her with her dog after it. The LPGA pro’s love for her dog was even seen during an interview, where she was asked what animal she would like to be, to which she answered that she would like to be her dog, Bella.

Throughout her Instagram, Hull shared the precious moments spent with Bella and reflected on the time lost between the two as she was busy with her schedule. The golfer had been surrounded by dogs throughout her childhood, as her father, also had a dog like Bella.

Hull is now mourning the sudden death of her beloved “princess,” but she did not disclose the reason behind Bella’s death. The dog has been in her life since 2016. The golfer had shared a tweet of Bella on X in which the golfer reminisced over her big growth as she turned 7 months old. In another instance, she expressed the support Bella gave her. She credited her dog for instantly boosting her energy and how one look at Bella’s face changed her mood.

The golfer has shared many such memories with her dog, like taking a walk on the last day of 2020, doing a nighttime skincare routine with Bella on the side, or watching Twilight on a movie night, as it was Bella’s favorite movie. Through it all, Hull has spent many precious and loving memories with Bella and we hope that she is in a better place. RIP Bella.
