From scandals to divorces, Greg Norman has been through a lot. His love life was often the center of media attention during his career. But all that changed with his third wife, Kirsten Kutner. The two have been together for more than a decade now. However, their history goes back way further than just a decade. The way ‘the Shark’s’ wife tells it, they first met nearly three decades ago. And he had her mesmerized.
Following his short, controversial 15-month marriage with Chris Evert, Norman met Kutner, and the two tied the knot in 2010. They have been happily together ever since.

Norman is now 67 years old and still looks god-like. Unlike many at that age, the ex-golf pro hasn’t let himself go. So, if he’s like this now, imagine 30 years ago. The two-time major winner was a heartthrob back in the day. From his athletic physique to his Australian accent, he had a lot going for him. But back then, Kutner noticed none of that.
As per Palm Beach Illustrated’s 2014 article, the Australian champion, and Kiki’s first meeting came nearly 16 years before their wedding. She had met the golfer and many other pros at a golf event. Despite having no interest in the sports world, Kutner was there because her parents were working for the company that sponsored the event.
She was instantly charmed by his magnetism and confidence. “He is the type of person who leaves an impression on anyone because he is so charismatic and magnetic,” she stated.

During that same event, the Shark met Kiki’s parents too, and left quite an impression on them. “I was impressed with him and my parents were, too,” his wife said. “You can’t avoid being impressed by him.” The 20-time PGA Tour champion had managed to charm his way into his future in-laws’ hearts much before they took that role.
The two didn’t meet after that day for 14 years, but when they did, it was electric. “I stayed [at the Fairmont] overnight and bumped into Kirsten again,” said the golf great, remembering the time it all began. “And that was it.” Undoubtedly, Norman’s first impression had done him wonders, both with Kutner and her folks.
