However, moving away from all these controversies, Greg recently shared an incredible picture on his Instagram. Notably, as every year on June 6th, we remember the events that unfolded on D-Day, Norman shared a fascinating post on his Instagram, reminding everyone of the same.

He shared a picture of himself with Steve Melnikoff, a veteran, and his good friend. He is the oldest surviving D-Day hero and is reportedly over 100 years old. Greg Norman posed alongside him for a picture and made an incredible revelation while posting it on Instagram. He said that Steve is an avid golfer, and he still plays the sport ardently.
“Today, we recognize and commemorate those who fought and sacrificed so that we could remain free. Thank you to all, including my good friend and the oldest surviving D-Day hero, Steve Melnikoff. Steve is over 100 years old and still an avid golfer. Keep swinging, Steve,” wrote Norman.

Truly, it is incredible to see a man over 100 years old still play the game. There were plenty of good wishes and supportive messages from fans in the comments section of the post. Indeed, we too wish Steve continues to swing his golf club in good health.
Greg Norman all set to lead the LIV Golf Invitational Series
It is no secret that Greg Norman has become the face of the rival league, who have successfully managed to get a prominent field for the inaugural event this week. The field has top players like Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, Ian Poulter, Sergio Garcia, Kevin Na, Lee Westwood, and Louis Oosthuizen.

Looking at the 48-men field, one can be sure of seeing some top quality golf at the inaugural event. Notably, big names like Dustin Johnson, Kevin Na, Louis Oosthuizen, and a couple of others have given up their PGA Tour membership to compete in the Greg Norman-led LIV Golf Invitational Series.

Meanwhile, the PGA Tour and other governing bodies are yet to decide on the consequences these golfers will face. However, the majority of golfers look content playing only LIV Golf, for reasons unknown.
