After all, he also launched a new broadcasting experience for the fans and included elevation graphics, but only to get outshined by Lefty. There’s not much success that LIV Golf has witnessed since its inception. However, it is fair to say that the Saudi-backed league has seen quite a few milestones. And one of them has to be LIV Golf’s latest success. LIV Golf UK is thriving with the arrival of over 35,000 fans who are expected to attend the golf tournaments. 

The buzz of excitement is filling up hotels, B&Bs, and self-catering cottages, making LIV Golf UK one of the most successful LIV events ever, after LIV Golf Adelaide. That’s not all. Recently, 45-time PGA Tour winner Phil Mickelson shared his enthusiasm for the league’s achievement.

The LIV golfer went on X and posted a video showing the crowd of fans through his car, and the best part was the caption! “Sold out LIV event (again) I found my game (finally) It’s going to be an awesome day”, read the caption. Mickelson has not won any tournaments ever since he joined LIV Golf, and his performance in the 2024 season has also not been a pretty sight.

In the last three LIV tournaments, Lefty has recorded a T37 finish at LIV Houston, a T40 at Nashville, and a T27 at Andalucia. The golfer’s performance has been as bad as one could imagine. Forget about a win; the golfer hasn’t even been in the top 10 in a while, except for the LIV Golf Jeddah, where he rested at T6.

Mickelson was on the greens at JCB Golf and Country Club again after finishing dead last at T60 at the Open Championship. However, the golfer is not ready to let the poor score take a toll on him. He is currently resting at T18 with a twinkle of hope in his eyes about round 2. The fans under the post were also ready to show support and encourage the player to perform at his best.

Despite his poor performance at The Open and the other two majors, the fans are still showing up for the latest LIV Golf with their cheers, and they are queuing up and pushing through the crowd, all to get a glimpse at their favorite golfer! One fan wrote, “I hope you find success hitting bombs!”. Everyone knows how popular Mickelson got in 2021 for hitting bombs with his driver. The fans are wishing him the same luck for the ongoing LIV completion. 

“Wish I was there! Go Phil!” commented one enthusiastic fan. Although some fans are unable to attend the live tournament, their support is still palpable. Another fan wrote, “Keep it going. Love “The Good Stuff,” supporting the golfer, referring to the brand For Wellness. Phil Mickelson and Dave Philips are the co-founders of the brand For Wellness, and “The Good Stuff” is a powerful formula that not only helps reduce inflammation but also keeps your joints and skin healthy.

Another fan wrote, “Hell yeah, Phil! Everyone is rooting for you!”. After a couple of years of poor performance and a below-average 2024 season, one would think their fans have lost faith in them. But not Mickelson, because his fans are always there to root for their favorite golfer. 

“You will always be an inspiration; thank you for bringing golf forward and going outside of the box,” said one fan. And indeed, he is an inspiration to many young golfers. The golfer is seen quite a few times helping other golfers with their form and techniques. Recently, he praised Keegan Bradley for winning the Ryder Cup and helped Andy Ogletree with his swing.
