Christmas is right here, and everyone is excited about it. However, the most excited person must be Bryson DeChambeau, as Christmas came early this year for him. Why? According to his latest Twitter post, he has received an invitation for Masters 2023. A victory for all LIV players no one ever thought we would witness. And golf fans could not stop themselves.

When LIV golf came into the picture, many pro golfers like Phil Mickelson, Bubba Watson, and DeChambeau left the PGA tour and joined LIV. It threatened the American tour as they lost their precious players. However, as a result, Jay Monahan banned every player who joined the Saudi-backed tour, and they were never allowed to return to the American Circuit. The LIV players also lost the opportunity to be part of any major tournament because they needed to fulfill eligibility criteria.
But now things have changed, and fans have presented their point of view too.
Are fans also celebrating early Christmas with Bryson DeChambeau?
The Christmas snow touched the ground, and Santa brought an early present for LIV golfers. Masters decided to invite the Saudi-backed circuit players to Augusta international for 2023. They wanted to bring together “a pre-eminent field of golfers,” and the decision was taken. According to authorities, inviting Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed, and Sergio Garcia is also in the books as they are eligible under the current criteria.

LIV pro-Cameron Smith, DeChambeau, and Brooks Koepka will also be part of Masters next year because they have won major championships in the last five years. However, fans also became part of the celebration as they buckled up for the 2023 Masters and said, “let’s go.” But it was not all merry in the comment section. Many golf fans did not approve of the invitation. They are unhappy that LIV golfers will get the opportunity with less effort than the PGA player. Therefore, “Shouldn’t be allowed in my opinion” was the gist of fans’ feelings.

Many comments also carried criticism and called him a “sellout” as he left the PGA tour for the money. However, the most iconic reply came from the American golf tour parody account, ‘PGA TUOR.‘ They said, “Come back to the PGA Tour! We miss you.” This comment gave a hilarious turn to the words going in the criticism direction. Overall, it was mixed reactions; however, let’s look at some of the responses of golf fans.

I love the 30 handicappers talking about how bad you are at golf and how taking 10X’s the amount of money to do less of the same job is such a horrible thing. the pure jealousy is incredible 😂

Sell out. You shouldn’t be playing. You chose money over the Tour, live with it.

Hopefully you lot won’t get another invitation to the following years majors.

The source of the money is still a problem. You are aiding a kingdom who is not a friend of the country that protects you and your freedoms.

Should be banned. Greedy, greedy man.
