LIV Golf CEO, Greg Norman, is trying his level best to provide everything he can to the players. And one of the league’s biggest issues currently is having their players participate in other tours as well. However, PGA Tour’s Billy Horschel recently gave his opinion about LIV golfers playing in DP World Tour events.

The DPWT decided to let LIV Golf players participate for as long as the issue stays unresolved. But not everyone on the tour is happy about sharing the same field with LIV players.
Professional golfers who stayed back on the PGA Tour knew that the decision of joining LIV was going to cost the players big time. And that is why Phil Mickelson and other LIV Golf rebels were not allowed to participate in tour events. When asked about his views on having LIV players in DP World Tour events, Billy Horschel made his views very clear. Horschel tried simplifying things and said, “They would feel that those players got their cake and also allowed to eat in front of them. I can easily see both sides.” According to the golfer, players shifted to LIV Golf for the money-led offers. And now, if they are allowed to play on the DP World Tour too, it would be unfair to the ones who stayed back!
The court’s hearing is still pending over the matter and it’s going to be a decision maker majorly for the Saudi league. Fans, tours, as well as professional golfers, everyone is waiting for the court’s verdict. However, this would only resolve the condition between the breakaway circuit and the DPWT. On the other hand, the PGA Tour stays stuck with the ban on its former players.
