You don’t understand the situation until you are living it. Similarly, Charlie finally understood what his father, Tiger Woods, had been through. The former number-one golfer has been struggling to stay fit since his car accident in February last year. He was not able to walk, let alone play golf. However, after intense therapy sessions, he was able to return to golf in December 2021. He has now paired up with his son to play the PNC Championship.

Despite finishing second in the event last year, Woods’ fans weren’t disappointed. Everyone was pleased to see the legendary golfer again on the field. However, the most important thing for Woods was spending quality time with Charlie. And as history repeats itself, the PNC Championship is currently ongoing, and the Woods duo is playing, this time, as the favorites to claim the victory.
Despite doing better now, he is still unable to walk long distances and has been struggling with pain. However, he does not want to miss out on playing with his son. Therefore, he is still going, despite immense pain due to plantar fasciitis on his right foot. After their round at PNC, the Woods-duo talked about their time together, and Charlie shared his valuable learning.

He said, “I mean, I found a new respect for him now after getting a minor, very minor injury. I wouldn’t really call it an injury, just hurt.” Talking about understanding his father’s pain, he said, “But just to see what he’s gone through, and how just like a fraction of it and kind of like it hurts. And it’s just cool how he’s gotten to where he is now. After all, he’s been through.”

Pretty cool…👍🏽. Later down the road, people will say Charlie was handed this opportunity. Thst will be true, but being Tiger’s son—I will know he worked for every bit of it.
