The 2023 Ryder Cup had been a matter of huge dismay for the American veterans. Following the 30-year streak of not winning on European soil, this year the veterans again failed to clinch the cup in Rome. The American squad somehow managed a score of 11.5, while the European side comfortably stood at 16.5.

Now, one of the American Ryder Cup veterans, Justin Thomas, has been maintaining quietude recently after the Ryder Cup. Until another ‘JT’ took the toil to leave Max Homa baffled.

Justin Thomas has been winless throughout the season. Due to his poor form, he missed cuts in major championships like the US Open and the Open Championship.

Despite all the odds, Zach Johnson took a last-ditch shot at Thomas and selected him for the US Ryder Cup team. But adding to the disappointment, he lost two of the four matches he participated in. Thus, his Ryder Cup career was as good as dead.

Ever since then, the PGA Tour golfer has been silent and hasn’t participated in any fall season events. As the real Justin Thomas kept aloof, another namesake of the golfer left Max Homa confused on Twitter. Recently, news transpired that a fake account was created in the name of J.T. Poston, an experienced PGA Tour pro.

Poston himself posted a tweet, writing, “I’ve got an imposter. A good one too. Only difference between this account and my own is the double __ in the name. Mine has just the one _ Please report if you see any tweets from this account as this is not me. Thank you” Later, this post was re-shared by Max Homa in a hilarious way, connecting it to the American Ryder Cup veteran, Justin Thomas: “The other other JT.”

This is not the first time Homa took a pun-intended jab at Thomas. A similar incident happened earlier this year as well.
