“How is the swing looking?”, read the caption. While the swing looked awesome it seems like the fans are not really a big fan of the sports shoes. Yes, it came as a surprise to us as well, especially considering the excitement among them when the deal was announced.  But still, it’s going to be an epic showdown, and I’m sure DeChambeau’s fans are eagerly waiting to see him in action.

Bryson DeChambeau’s latest shoes get some unexpected heat from the fans

What’s your perspective on:

Are Bryson's new Reebok shoes a bold statement or just a fashion misstep?

Have an interesting take?

“Goofiest shoes ever”, yes, I’m putting the comment first to show just how much fans dislike the new shoes. In the video, one could see that the golfer was wearing blue shoes with white stripes here and there, you know your typical Reebok shoes and that’s exactly why it’s so hard to understand why fans are hating on them. Well, Bryson DeChambeau did say that as proud as he was of being the man for Reebok, they are a “little bit irreverent” and he thinks that’s the “cool piece” about it.

One fan said, “Think he’s losing a little due to slip unfortunately #reebok”, while another said, “Reebok wanted a logo everywhere, huh?” That’s what many fans are saying after taking a closer look at Reebok’s branding strategy. While it’s true that Reebok does use a lot of logos on its shoes and apparel, there’s actually a fascinating story behind the reason.

Each logo represents a significant chapter in the brand’s history, from its humble beginnings to its current status as a global fitness powerhouse. Reebok’s early logo, featuring the Union Jack, was used from 1958 to 1986 to represent its European and global origins. Later, Reebok replaced the British flag with an abstract line image consisting of two blue lines and a red line. This change was intended to help Reebok market itself globally.

Another fan said, well, they said something. “What in lord’s name are those horrific ungodly lord strike me dead if I see them again ahhh shoes”, yeah, so I guess it’s safe to say that the fans hate the shoes with a passion. Yes, used the right word. “Weird”, said another which, honestly, covers the whole situation pretty well. So, what do you think? Do you like DeChambeau’s shoes?
