‘Good Wholesome Fun’: Golf Fans Have the Last Laugh as a Nasty Fight Breaks Out at Pebble Beach

Sports without high emotional engagement feel incomplete. Over the years, the game of golf hasn’t been far from this passion. The sport has quite often witnessed tons of emotion from the fans, pros, and many more on the course. As a result, courses have seen their fair share of fights, feuds, and displeased gestures. And recently, Pebble Beach added to that count!

Recently, the caddie network posted a video showcasing some grappling between a golfer and a caddie at Pebble Beach. Joshua Parrish, a caddie who frequently records exciting and captivating golf clips on the teeing ground, was able to capture it on camera. The recent short video was one such moment where a nasty squabble was witnessed after a shot. And like always, fans had lots to say.

Fans hilariously react to the on-course fight

As soon as the video was up, fans had their input ready. Each one of them had their own perspective on the exchange between the player and his caddie. Some said, ” This is some good wholesome fun!“, “That’s not fighting, that’s wrasslin!”, “Caddymaster wouldnt be pleased”, “Don’t mess with the Pebble caddies 🤘💪😂.”

Others went a step ahead and added a little more insight to their comment. They said, “When you spend that much on a round, you want to make it the most memorable experience possible. If that’s the first hole, I wonder how the rest of the round went?” “I told you it was an 8 wasn’t the right thing to say after his player came up short in the water.”

Another enthusiastic fan added an experience, “I got into a drunken fight with one of my players in Bandon at the caddy bar one night. We are best buddies 10 years later.” 

This, of course, isn’t the first fight a golf course has witnessed, and it certainly won’t be the last!

Golf fans love a harmless quarrel

Many times in the past, fans have also had the chance to watch an episode of golf rage. There have been heated altercations between golfers, the golfer and the caddie, the fans themselves, and the list goes on. Disagreements and unsatisfactory shots usually trigger the rage response. Such incidents provoke reactions form all around every time they arise.

Reactions to these fights usually come in mixed forms. Some of which are heated, while others have a touch of light humor. Fans certainly love the drama these harmless quarrels bring. And since the hilarious fight above ended with the two men laughing about it, why couldn’t they laugh about it too?
