The LIV Golf tour has been in a lot of controversies since the day it was brought into existence by Greg Norman. A lot of talented players, who were previously on the PGA Tour, are now part of the new LIV Golf league. Greg Norman recently hosted the LIV Golf pro-am, where a lot of former PGA Tour players competed against each other. Among them was retired Olympic gold medalist, Caitlyn Jenner who shared her experience of playing at the LIV Golf event.

Caitlyn Jenner shares her experience after playing at the LIV Golf pro-am
Retired American Olympic athlete, Caitlyn Jenner, recently played at the LIV Golf pro-am at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster. She shared her experience after playing at the event and showed support for the LIV Golf Tour. In an interview with Fox news, she said, “Not only did I have a fun time playing, I played with Ian Poulter and Paul Casey, but it was just a really good, positive attitude…all the players looked like they were enjoying themselves, and it was great competition.”
Jenner also stated that LIV Golf is a strong competitor for the PGA Tour and will keep pushing the limits. She also said that the PGA Tour might need to figure out new ways to appeal to the players. “The PGA Tour is really going to have to look at this very seriously and figure out a way in the future… it’s going to be better for the golfers,” Jenner said.

She also said that the LIV Tour is going to stay for a long time. “It’s not only in the future is the golf going to be interesting and good business, but the business side of professional golf is going to be very interesting…” she stated. When she was asked about the involvement of Saudi Arabia and the criticism LIV Golf is receiving because of that, she said, “Who put the bulk of that money? They’re probably us. We’ve been buying oil from the Saudis for years”
LIV CEO makes bold Saudi claims against the PGA Tour
Greg Norman was in an interview with Tucker Carlson, where he spoke about the PGA Tour and its relationship with Saudi Arabia. Norman said, “The PGA tour, I think, has about 27 sponsors who do 40-plus billion dollars worth of annual business on an annual basis in Saudi Arabia”.

He also mentioned that one of the biggest sponsors of the Women’s PGA Tour was a Saudi-based oil company. It was in reaction to the consistent blame on the LIV Golf Tour for working with Saudi Arabia. However, no further statements have been received from the PGA Tour after Norman’s response.
