Caddie of an amateur collapsed at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am during round 2. As scary as it sounds, the incident left the players and other caddies playing in the same group in shock. In fact, the unfortunate event even shook the entire golf world, making them come together to pray for him.
According to reports, the caddie, whose name is being withheld due to privacy concerns, was working for Lukas Nelson, an amateur, when he collapsed on the 11th. Notably, the pair were in the same group as Tour professionals Beau Hossler and Max McGreevy.
It has been only a day since an airplane had to make an emergency landing on a golf course. Although it was a scary incident, the golf world found the funny side of it, as no one got injured. However, it is different this time.

According to witnesses, the medical professionals had to perform emergency CPR on the caddie before taking him to the hospital in an ambulance. Later, a Tournament official confirmed the events to be true and revealed the caddie was taken to Montage Health for further evaluation.
Did the players of the group resume playing at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am?
The unfortunate incident happened on the 11th hole of the Pebble Beach Golf Links in California. It was a one-of-a-kind situation. And according to a thread of tweets from ESPN’s Paolo Uggetti, the pros playing in the same group with Lukas Nelson and his caddie seemed hesitant to play after it happened.
One of Uggetti’s tweets revealed, “PGA tour rules official now discussing resuming play with players, who are pushing back. Beau Hossler: ‘I can’t say that I’m real comfortable at the moment to resume play.'”

Moreover, his tweets explained that while PGA Tour officials were in discussion to see when they could resume playing, the players didn’t want to play. Later, Tour officials announced that they have intentions to continue with the game for the group and later confirmed the players started playing.
