The young female professional had gone for a commercial appearance and photoshoot in Florida, where she had swelling in her arm. After visiting the emergency room, the professional was diagnosed with a blood clot. Korda broke out the news through social media platforms. Not to forget, she has three events in the 2022 LPGA Tour season and also missed the first major event of the year. The Chevron Championship.

However, the 23-year-old broke out positive news regarding her recovery. Korda uploaded a statement along with a few pictures to announce that she had undergone surgery. The statement said, “I recently underwent surgery for a blood clot in my subclavian vein. I am pleased to report the procedure went well and the doctors were happy with the outcome. I am now home recovering and preparing to start rehab.”
