At the third event of the LIV Golf series, the FOX news host sat down for an interview with Norman. Covering a wide range of aspects on the tour, Tucker quizzed on the rumors surrounding the offer made to Tiger Woods.
“So you keep reading that you offered Tiger Woods 700-800 million dollars, some unknown number, to join LIV. Is that true?” Tucker asked.
“That number was out there before I became CEO,” Norman replied. “They (LIV Golf) had originally approached Tiger before I became CEO, so yes, that number is somewhere in that neighborhood.”

Fan’s Reactions to Tiger Woods offer
The revelation has witnessed all sorts of reactions from fans on social media. While many couldn’t believe the amount of money being poured over professional golfers, others questioned the integrity of the players joining the Saudi-backed tour.
It disgusts me that anyone makes this much money. The rich can afford to trash our planet even faster with their conspicuous consumption while others work like slaves for little to nothing. The wealth inequality is sickening. Why does society continue to operate like this?

Norman, Michelson and the rest were bought, I guess Tiger decided to choose America and scrape by on the fortune he made on PGA Tour, huh?

Despite the staggering offer, Woods, whose PGA Tour earnings stand at $120,895,206, has reportedly rejected the idea of moving to LIV as he continues to show his support for the PGA tour.

The LIV Golf series concluded its third event on Sunday with Henrik Stenson, recently in the news for being stripped of his Ryder Cup captaincy, winning his first LIV Tour. While that finish helped him pocket an eye-watering $4 million, it is reportedly bleak compared to what LIV paid Stenson to join the series. According to various sources, the Swede was tipped $40 million to join the Saudi-backed series, which consequently resulted in the termination of his sponsorships and, most notably, his Team Europe captaincy.
