In this tradition, the defending champion organizes a dinner for the past champions. He selects the menu and severs the dinner on the second day of the Masters week. Hence, Hideki recently revealed the menu for the same. He is serving assorted sushi, sashimi, and nigiri yakitori chicken skewers as appetizers.

Furthermore, he has incredible Japanese cuisine for his dinner. Additionally, Matsuyama also has Japanese Strawberry shortcakes as a desert. Moreover, Hideki is also the first Asian to win a Masters event.

Even though Hideki Matsuyama is serving the champions dinner today, his participation in this tournament is still doubtful. He is still recovering from a neck injury that has been troubling him a lot. Hideki even withdrew from the last week’s Texas Open to take a rest and prepare for the Masters.

However, still, there is no confirmation from his side that he will be teeing off on Thursday. He most probably will take a call earlier that morning. Meanwhile, we have seen him practicing on the range since Monday but we could sense a slight stiffness in his neck during his swing.

So hopefully, he will recover and compete to defend the green jacket that he received last year.
