Famous for being one of the top left-handed pitchers, the former MLB player David Wells loves playing golf. Recently, he has played golf with the former professional golfer Paige Spiranac. And he is impressed with her skills.

Nicknamed Boomer, Wells took his Twitter to acknowledge Spiranac’s talent in playing golf. 

Wells is known for his love for golf. He is known to play Pro-Ams and even has won the BMW Charity Pro-Am once. His team had won it with a 26-under par score. Notably, Wells made an ace at the par-3, 9th hole during the tournament. 

David Wells is a good player himself. Therefore, his compliments for Spiranac about her golfing skill have gotten much interest in the Twitter community. Even Spiranac had commented on his post. She wrote, “We had the best group today! Can’t wait to play again with you!”

Spiranac has retired from professional golfing without winning a championship. She had once explained that she did it because of her inability to handle stress at the time. However, she still plays the sport and has claimed that she played better than in her pro days.

Her fans loved that the former MLB pitcher has complimented Spiranac for her golfing skills. Some chose the opportunity to show their frustration over others for not recognizing her golfing ability. Meanwhile, some just reflected on how good she is at playing the sport.

One of the course marshalls at the event continuously commented how the former golfer impressed them during the match.

The golf world has seen her play well before as well. After all, she had once impressed the golf legend Gary Player with her hole-in-one.

The whole audience, along with Player, seemed impressed with her ace as he congratulated her. Spiranac, too, looked proud as she hit a hole-in-one in front of one of the legendary golfers.

Where did Paige Spiranac and David Wells play golf together? 

Spiranac had impressed Wells with her game at the Monday After the Masters tournament. The event helps raise money for children’s educational purposes under the charity Hootie & the Blowfish Foundation.

It has been a tradition for the celebrities to give back to the community while playing golf right after the Monday of the Masters. However, the tournament got canceled for the last two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
