Two-time Major champion Dustin Johnson recently joined hands with the Saudi-backed LIV Golf Invitational Series. Not only Johnson, but many big names of the sport got associated with the all-new high-paying golf league.

As a result of this decision by the American pro golfer, he recently got suspended from the PGA Tour. As per the regulations of PGA, none of their players are allowed to sign up with the Saudi golf league, else their membership from PGA will be suspended.

Holding on to the seriousness of these regulations, a statement was released by the Commissioner of the PGA Tour. It stated the suspension of all the players who breached the trust of the Tour.

As a result of this, Former World No. 1 Dustin Johnson is not left with any benefits he had received via the PGA Tour. These benefits included the FedExCup Points, and after the PGA’s statement, Johnson has none of them left in his name.

Dustin Johnson can do whatever he wants to

In a recent interview with the pro golfer, an interviewer asked him what his plans were after the LIV Golf Event ended. To our surprise, Dustin replied that the main reason he joined the LIV Golf Series was so he could play less golf!

While some decided to make fun of the answer Johnson gave, some loyal fans also supported his statement saying he can do more than just golf.

The kind of love the 37-year-old had shown for the sport earlier made it look like he wants to play as much as he could. But glancing at his recent statements where he aims to ‘play less golf, not more’, showed a flipped side of the player.
