To take the lead in the FedEx Cup Championship, Will Zalatoris had to force and then survive a crazy three-hole playoff. He had the inside track to the playoff’s $18 million first-place prize thanks to his triumph in the first three championship playoff matches.
Zalatoris had finished in the second position in three majors over the past two years. Despite the choke-ups in the past, Will Zalatoris claimed the clubhouse lead after recording a 72-hole score of 15-under with a 10-foot par putt on Sunday at TPC Southwind in Memphis.

Adam Sandler has been an avid sports fan, more importantly, a great sports athlete himself. He can be seen in several sports movies including the most recent one “Hustle”. However, Sandler once starred as a hockey player-turned-golfer in the classic film “Happy Gilmore”.
The movie remains a classic among many golf fans. But the one thing most new golf fans recalled from the 1996 movie was the resemblance of Will Zalatoris to Gilmore’s first caddie, played by actor Jared Van Snellenberg.

Only problem is that trophy, doesn’t even have a goofy golf guy on top. Maybe they can change it at the trophy shop. Put a little hockey guy on there?

If there's any way you could be his caddie next week it would break the internet. Even if it was just for the first hole. Congrats Willy!
