On Thursday, Molinari descended upon Royal Liverpool in hopes of returning to his winning ways, but things ended up getting off to a not-so-memorable start for the Italian pro.

On Friday, as the golfer hit his opening tee shot, the on-course mic caught him let slip a massive fart! The embarrassing mishap left fans who heard it in stitches, and has now gone viral on Twitter.

His eventual performance on the fairways wasn’t anything to rave about, either. After his first round 73 (2+), Molinari carded a disappointing 75 (4+). His score at the end of day 2 stood at 6-over 148, resulting in him missing the cut.
