Jack Nicklaus is probably the greatest golfer of all time, along with Tiger Woods. He has the highest number of major championship victories with 18 trophies. Hence, everyone considers Jack as the best golfer, with only Tiger Woods giving him a tough fight for the GOAT tag. Nicklaus competed in an era where players like Gary Player, Arnold Palmer, were also dominating the tour.
Jack held his own among these talented players and won 73 PGA Tours, with 18 majors. Today Nicklaus is celebrating his 82nd birthday, and it’s been an incredible journey for the Golden Bear so far.

Happy birthday to Jack Nicklaus, who turns 82 today. In case you're wondering, he posted just six rounds of 82 or worse in his entire career. That's right: Three times more major championship victories than scores of 82.
