Spiranac has established herself as a golf ambassador since hanging up her boots. But even before that, she wanted to grow the game of golf and did her part. “She’s done a lot of coaching for children throughout the years, since when she was a junior golfer herself,” says her sister in ‘Playing a Round with Paige‘ podcast.
The 30-year-old golfer has continued the initiative even after her retirement. She’s done a lot of camps and clinics and stuff recently as her sister and co-author reveals.
So, the idea of writing a book for children to inspire them to play golf came very naturally. The golfer and her sister wanted to take a new initiative that would open up the beautiful world of golf to children. So, when the opportunity to author a book came, the Spiranac sisters jumped at the opportunity. “We had the opportunity to write this book, and we knew we had to do it together.”
This wholesome side of Spiranac was totally hidden from her fans. Curiously, only a few days ago, in a candid chat with her fans, the 30-year-old-golfer revealed she was ‘nervous’ about having a child. That led many fans to speculate that the golf mommy is not good at handling children.
