The highly anticipated Ryder Cup is taking place at Marco Simone Golf and Country Club, Rome, from September 29 to October 1st. This is the 44th edition of the event taking place this weekend. While fans wait for the tee off on Friday, a Pro-Am tournament called the ‘All-Star match’ is taking place.

The Marco Simone Golf and Country Club: A star-studded field 

The All-Star match will take place on the same grounds as the Ryder Cup, and it will feature some huge names this year. The list features tennis ace Novak Djokovic, the 24 time grand slam winner.

Ferrari’s very own F1 driver, Carlos Sainz will join him. The list also includes the Welsh international, Gareth Bale, a former Champions League winner with Real Madrid. Unlike in the Ryder Cup, this match will not have players from the USA and Europe but will have players from other sports.
