Thanks to Bryson DeChambeau, fans are aware that Donald Trump has got a game. The 47th POTUS displayed impeccable strokeplay during his appearance on the LIV Golfer’s Breaking 50 series on YouTube. While his ball knowledge was always excellent, the community finally saw Trump play on the course. That helped validate the President’s claims of being a great golfer himself. Now that he has proven himself to be a legit golfer, Donald Trump showed off his most recent achievement on the course.

The POTUS participated in a Senior Club Championship recently. The tournament was hosted at the Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida. He was also apparently joined by famed analyst Brad Faxon in the senior event. As NUCLR GOLF confirmed in a tweet, “🚨🏆🇺🇸 JUST IN: President Donald Trump has won the Senior Club Championship at Trump National Golf Club Jupiter. (Via: @BradFaxon).” Yes, not only did President Trump participate in the Senior Club Championship, but he also won it in the end.

He may have ensured this post made the news as he expected the fans to applaud his achievement. Especially because this was his third Club Championship win in 2025. He had previously claimed to have won the Golf Club Championship and the Senior Club Championship as well. But he didn’t expect the fans to react negatively to his win.

Within minutes, the tweet was bombarded with comments. Fans from all over the country jumped in to question the credibility of the tournament. Especially considering that it was held at the Trump National Golf Club. Let’s see what they had to say about it.

Netizens call out Donald Trump for lying about his recent win

The golf community might believe that Donald Trump can play golf well. But they don’t think that Mr. President is remotely good enough to actually play competitive golf, let alone win a tournament. As one of them said, “Did he actually win it or did you just give it to him because he’s the president and owns the course ?” They seem to believe that the tournament officials might have given Trump the win to grab his attention and win a few favors. This is not the first time Donald Trump has been accused of faking his achievements on the course. He was criticized about the same heavily criticized back in 2022 when he participated in a tournament. In fact, his claims of winning three Club Championships in 2025 also have a lot of doubters.

Others chose a more sarcastic route to responding to the tweet. One of them said, “Trump won his club championship, and I took a trip to the moon this morning. What a great day for just making sh*t up!” An ordinary man taking a trip to the moon in a day sounds quite absurd. The president winning a club championship also sounds equally unrealistic to them.

Another gave a more detailed description of what happened at the Trump National Golf Club. Albeit sarcastically, they said, “He didn’t only win; he set records for 834 yards of gimmies and 32 mulligans in the process.”  Even if you count a 5-yard putt as a gimme for every hole, then 72 holes can only get you 360 yards of gimmies. That is if the senior golfer did play a four-round event to win the Club Championship. The 32 Mulligans bit is even more unbelievable, at least for a legit tournament.

Speaking of legit, fans also questioned the authenticity of the tournament. As one of them asked, “Why does his club have a championship every week?”  They find it shocking how often Trump is participating in these Club Championships. They want to know, are the tournaments even real?

One of the fans even brought the PGA Tour and LIV Golf merger into the conversation. They said, “Wait, i thought he was meeting with the Saudi’s. He’s lying again??? What a shock,” suggesting that Trump had a meeting with Yasir Al-Rumayyan to discuss the deal further. However, considering their last meeting with the PIF Governor, we doubt they would have another conversation about it so soon.
