PGA Tour vs. LIV Golf has been an integral part of golf discussions ever since the latter’s first season in 2022. The two have been in an everlasting feud, and players taking digs at each other has become a common sight. Many people have shared their take on the golfing era that we are in. Some seem to think it could be better, and some simply disagree.
A Twitter page that shares informant about the PGA Tour and LIV Golf, PGA/LIV Hot Takes, recently posted something that caught fans’ eyes and made fans somewhat furious.
PGA/LIV Hot Takes’ controversial words

It is hard to disagree with the fact that LIV Golf has increased the paychecks of golfers significantly. Some even argue that the main reason many players shifted to the new series was for the money!

But with the money came consequences! Many golfers opted out of the PGA Tour and ended up being banned from participating in its events. And even more tragedy followed recently when the Saudi-backed league lost its case against the DP World Tour, resulting in many players withdrawing from the European Tour.
And considering how they’re still waiting on OWGR points, LIV Golf certainly has a long road to cover before getting its due recognition. And the Twitter account, targeting that, posted about how golf could be in its best era if major championships and the Ryder Cup changed their criteria from world rankings to something else that included the defectors and how the sport could only benefit from it.
“If the majors and the Ryder Cup figured out LIV qualifications we’d be in one of the best eras of golf ever.” The account then also said that the potential for golfers to earn more hefty paychecks is increasing as “almost every weekend some of the best players in the world are playing for $20M.”

Fans react to the debatable LIV Golf inclusion suggestion
Many were just not in support of the proposed thought and did not shy away from dissing LIV Golf and its defectors.
The liv players weren’t doing much before they left

None of the LIV players we’re getting picked for the Ryder Cup regardless of what tour they were on.

Golf doesn’t need LIV. You want that, but it doesn’t.

Stop – LIV has like 2 golfers anyone wants to see.

This would include liv golfers and that is the entire point: they don’t deserve it. Sell your soul and find out.

LIV, where you can make some serious bank and never break par.
— michael Oliver (@ericlovesvinyl) May 5, 2023
You don’t make special qualifications for 48 players when over half of them don’t deserve it. That’s not fair to anyone. Sorry, but “LIV Qualifications” for Majors should never be a thing.

Some fans even commented on the money golfers are making these days.
Nobody outside of the golfers themselves care about how much money they make
— Bryce A. Ebels (@ebels10) May 5, 2023
To think about the money it's actually disgusting what the golfers these days are playing for!
— Matthew Gregory (@stonecold01mg) May 5, 2023
Taking a sarcastic dig at the post, a fan commented on a hypothetical situation, asking what non-LIV golfers can do to participate in the league events.
Liv qualifications 🤣🤣🤣🤣
