Golf is a sport that frequently witnesses a lot of philanthropic acts, either through the players or as part of a competition that is taking place. From prestigious tournaments like the Ryder Cup to FedEx fall events like the Shriners Children’s Open, the game often shows its generous side. And joining the list is none other than the glam queen, Paige Spiranac.

The American beauty is well known for her content on the golf course. However, it did not stop her from bringing out a different personality, as the influencer took to her podcast to reveal her magnanimous side to the world, surprising many!

Paige Spiranac shares her philanthropic personality

Spiranac propelled herself to stardom by coupling her good looks with her bold personality and knowledge of the game of golf. In that regard, the golfing queen has tremendous time ahead of her. However, contrary to popular belief, she went astray from her glamorous self to disclose some of her future plans in the next 20 years involving a bit of philanthropy.

Speaking on her podcast, Playing a Round with Paige, the blonde beauty revealed how it was always her “dream” to “open a really amazing golf course with a thriving junior program” for underprivileged kids. The diva included the same in her plans, as she pointed out rightfully that successful people in the game have “grown up with access to amazing facilities and coaches,” usually provided to them by their parents.

Recounting her own experiences, the 30-year-old recalled how she didn’t grow up with a lot of “money,” and neither did the glam queen have the said facilities. Moreover, in a bid to obtain range balls, the young, aspiring athlete had to resort to cleaning the pro shop. This led to her feeling a bit “behind a bunch of her (Spiranac’s) other peers because golf is a very expensive sport,” pushing her decision to help the needy.

The social media star seems to be well set on doing something in order to provide for or give back to the community. However, there might be instances where she would be unable to engage in such acts due to some unforeseen circumstances. Let us take a look at one such instance.

Spiranac’s charity act was once rejected

The ex-pro golfer once revealed in her podcast how she wanted to help out a charity by offering them free golf clubs. However, her noble act was rejected, as the guy in charge of the same sent her a letter mentioning the same. The model was denied her chance because of the manner in which the board members viewed her.

The rejection broke her heart, and she took it out on the elitist mentality of the game. The influencer expressed her displeasure as she said, “I want to give back to these kids who don’t have anything, because I grew up not having anything, and I can’t even f**king do that because of my cleavage.”

One can only hope that the “stuffy” frame of mind changes to include people like the golfer in the fray. Philanthropic acts should be respected, no matter where they come from!
