Paige Spiranac has played a major part in being a pioneer in the field of women’s golf as she boldly expresses her views on the game.

Spiranac has come a long way as the golfer-turned-influencer received many backlashes for her approach to the game. But this has not stopped the golf beauty from presenting her anti-traditionalism every time she takes her clubs to the course. In a reminiscence of sorts, the 30-year-old took to her social media to share her story leaving many curious and in awe.

Paige Spiranac recounts her experience

The golfing queen has set herself apart with her unconventional style on the golf course. Moreover, she has managed to amass a large fan following due to the same.

Recently, Spiranac uploaded a series of stories on her Instagram as she recounted the time when the influencer started sharing golf videos and pictures. In her story, she mentions how her influencer life started in 2015 when she was just a collegiate golfer at San Diego State University (SDSU). Spiranac always wore untraditional golf clothes because of the comfort and it helped her portray a different side of the game.

The golfing influencer continues the caption by mentioning how she grew up playing on the municipal golf courses where the dress code was not as strict as the other places. In the next story, she uploaded a video of the golf mommy teeing a shot on the foothills golf course in Colorado donning pink pants and a low-cut black top. Paige made sure to emphasize how she rarely saw a woman on the course, “especially none dressed like” her.

Although the golfer-turned-influencer is one of the few who started the trend of dressing boldly on the golf course, the tradition still has a long way to go to be broken. Moreover, Spiranac has also been vocal about the dressing aspect in the men’s game as she took to her Instagram story to talk about the same a while back.

Spiranac’s unconventional move for the PGA Tour

In the 2023 FedEx St. Jude Championship that ended not too long ago, the scorching heat on the golf course proved too much for the golfers to handle as they battled it out against each other. The champion of the tournament, Lucas Glover, among others, had to resort to sticking their hands in the ice coolers in a bid to maintain their body temperature. The model thus took to her social media to suggest a solution for the situation: wear shorts.

The former professional golfer voiced her concern for the professional golfers and mentioned how the rules needed to change for the men to be able to wear shorts. Spiranac made sure to emphasize how the people were expressing their views against the new dress code in their comfortable AC rooms while the athletes duke it out in the hot climate.
