Tiger Woods has come a long way in his journey toward golf. However, he has had his share of dark phases. Despite all the hard times, the greatest golfer is ready to play at the seventh edition of ‘The Match.’
Woods was supposed to play at the Hero World Challenge this year, but he had to withdraw his name a few days before the event because of planter fasciitis on his right foot. He could not walk, let alone play; therefore, he only focused on his hosting duties for the event.

The next Big event right around the corner is ‘The Match,’ where the pro golfer will pair up with Rory McIlroy. The duo will play against Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas.
Fans have been waiting long to see their favorite golfer on the course. In February 2021, Woods met with a near-fatal accident, and almost lost his life. Thankfully, he survived; however, he sustained multiple fractures in his right leg. As a result, doctors had to put a rod in his leg to stabilize the injuries. Woods could not walk for months; however, now he is focusing on defeating Spieth and Thomas.
Will he be able to do it?
Is Tiger Woods ready to play ‘The Match?’
Woods has been struggling to walk; however, golf carts have been his friends lately. Since he could not walk, he used the cart to move around at the Hero World Challenge. But now the question arises, will he be able to play at ‘The Match?’
The former number-one golfer answered with his recent statement. He said, “I can hit golf balls; it’s just getting from point A to point B.” The golfer could swing his clubs perfectly; the only issue was his foot, which was not letting him walk. Thankfully, his new friend, a golf cart, will help him to move around the Pelican Golf Club on December 10.
