The two former major championship winners were at loggerheads since Koepka’s infamous eye-roll at the PGA Championship, which fueled the fire in an already boiling pot. But the arrival of LIV Golf changed everything, including, pitting Koepka and DeChambeau in the same boat. Yet, the pair never publicly announced their reconciliation, until today.
In the brief clip that has gone viral on the internet, Koepka is asked whether there was any lingering tension between him and DeChambeau. His answer? “We squashed. We’re good,” he revealed.
Furthermore, the 4-time major championship winner revealed that he was on a daily talking basis with DeChambeau. “I actually talk to him quite frequently because of what’s going on here with LIV… pretty much on every other day basis,” he said.
“We’ve got good, open-minded communication. We’ve figured it all out and we’re good,” Koepka reiterated.
Brooks Koepka says he and Bryson have squashed their rivalry and now talk to each other “almost every day”.
