Bryson DeChambeau recently joined the LIV Tour and called it a “business decision”. As a result, his membership in the PGA Tour is now suspended as per the recent statement by Jay Monahan, Commissioner of the PGA Tour.
The newly recruited LIV player has limited fans, as only a few people seem to like the athlete. DeChambeau is a passionate and skillful player but is not very likable to golf fans. Since the initial fun banter between DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka took a serious turn, Koepka’s fans have turned their backs on the 28-year-old American.

Given his image in front of the fans, one can expect to witness some sort of interaction happen every time he steps on the field. One such incident happened in the 2021 BMW Championship where DeChambeau lost his cool to a fan.
DeChambeau confronts a heckler about being bullied
Bryson DeChambeau is not someone who loses his cool too often. But everyone has a breaking point beyond which one can’t take it anymore. The same happened with DeChambeau after he lost to Patrick Cantley in the BMW Championship last year.

DeChambeau was furious due to the loss and was trying to keep himself calm while walking uphill. But as they say, problems don’t care about the time while they arrive. While silently walking uphill, a random fan from across the rope yelled out “Great job, Brooksie!”.

Bryson DeChambeau responds to the heckler in fury
DeChambeau, angry, turned around and said with rage dropping out of his eyes, “You know what? Get the f— out!”. This was the first time the golfer was seen confronting a heckler throughout the time this confrontation took place. It would have taken no time for the situation to worsen and break into a fight between the two.

However, the athlete luckily calmed himself down again, called out to a police officer, and asked him to take care of the person behind the rope. Thankfully, nothing worth regretting happened that day.

Fans often forget that it’s not cool to heckle someone to an extent where the person feels bullied. Especially, in an era where people have finally become aware of mental health and issues, one should know how something they say might affect the other. Hopefully, people will try to understand the viewpoint of the golf ace and put a stop to these never-ending taunts.
