‘Gators Wouldn’t Dare’: John Daly’s Latest Valiant Belly Diving Among Supposedly Alligators Sends Chill Through the Spines of the Golf Fans

Over the years, John Daly has shown his different colors to his fans. The golfer gained the attention of the golf community by winning a major event with his long driving skills in his rookie year. He continued to surprise everyone with his love for fast food and diet coke and his hate for water. After all these years, one would think the golfer could not give any more surprises, but then he went on to do a scary stunt at a golf course during a Pro-am event! 

John Daly is widely popular for being the ‘Wild Thing’ of golf because of his free-spirited lifestyle. He took the wilderness in him to a different level when he did a belly flop into the Trump Doral water hazard recently.

The former President of the United States, Donald Trump, held the third annual Trump Touring Pro Weekend in Miami. And the 2-time major champion did the belly flop into the water hazard without worrying about the alligators it might possibly have. 

The video got popular within minutes of the golfer posting it. Hence, many golf-related channels and entities started sharing it on their social media profiles. When PGA Memes shared it on their Instagram, LIV Golfer, Lee Westwood, was quick to like it. Meanwhile, Bryson DeChambeau liked the video when an executive at the Trump Doral shared it. 

The former POTUS used three of the ‘raising hands’ emojis to show his respect for the golfer. Moreover, his daughter, Ivanka Trump, also commented, “😂😂😂🙌.”

Former MLB player, Johnny Damon, and his wife took to their Instagram profiles to comment on the belly flop video. Michelle Damon wrote: “This is why I love him! So good! 😂😂😂 @pga_johndaly.”

Florida golf courses are famous for having too many alligators in their water hazards. Yet, the 1991 PGA Championship winner didn’t hesitate for a moment before jumping into it, with a lot of his friends and colleagues watching and cheering.
